Trustco Group Holdings Annual General Meeting

Trustco Group Holdings Limited conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shareholders on Thursday, 1 February 2024, at the group’s Head Office in Windhoek, Namibia. The session, presided over by the Chairman of Trustco’s Board, Adv Raymond Heathcote, engaged shareholders both present and via live stream, featuring a dynamic question and answer session with positive contributions from shareholders locally and globally.

The AGM showcased the sound business decisions and forward-looking plans of the Trustco Group. Group CEO, Dr Quinton van Rooyen, and Deputy Group CEO, QZ van Rooyen, played pivotal roles, broadly outlining the company’s vision for 2024. The purpose of the AGM was to provide a formal opportunity for Trustco’s shareholders to gather, review, and discuss the company’s financial performance and vote on various matters requiring shareholder approval. Trustco enjoys the backing of a wide range of coinvestors, including 3 610 from Namibia, 1 443 from abroad, and 94 from institutional entities.

A key highlight from the AGM includes:

• The voting outcomes showed overwhelming support, with over 99% favoring all 11 resolutions, including the endorsement of the Annual Financial Statements for the fiscal year concluding on August 31, 2023.

• Approval of financial statements.

• Re-election of directors.

• Appointment of auditors.

• Other significant matters impacting the company and its shareholders.
