Squash Federation of Africa Seniors Championships Kicks Off in Windhoek
Windhoek, Namibia – Trustco’s continued support the past 15-years for the development of squash and the nurturing of young talent reaches a milestone this week with some of Africa’s most talented squash players in action at the Squash Federation of Africa Seniors Championships.
Namibia, in collaboration with the Namibia Squash Association (NSA) and Trustco Group Holdings, is proud to host this prestigious 2024 event, bringing together over forty players from across Africa, including representatives from Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Nigeria, Egypt and South Africa.
The tournament officially commenced on Monday in the Namibian capital, Windhoek, with great fanfare and excitement. The international tournament, which will continue until Saturday 23 November 2024 promises thrilling matches as some of Africa’s top squash talent compete on Namibian soil at the Wanderers sports club in Windhoek.
Neville Basson, Trustco’s Head of Public Relations, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to nurturing squash at all levels. “We had a strong vision back then, committing to bringing squash to all corners of Namibia at the grassroots level. More than 15 years later, we are proud to witness the remarkable progress made, thanks to our partnership with the NSA,” Basson stated.
Trustco extends its best wishes to the Namibian national team and other competing countries as they prepare to take on the continent’s best. The NSA and Trustco invite the public from across Namibia to support our squash players this week at the Wanderers Squash Club.
